How to Prevent Your Puppy From Jumping Up
Jumping puppies is never a good exercise, even if they are small breeds. Although they do not hurt an adult, they can hurt a child, especially if they are adults. Your puppy can jump and hurt himself. The most effective way to prevent your puppy from jumping is to show him that you disapprove of this behavior. Unfortunately, that's not always easy, because it's a wonderful feeling that your puppy jumps excitedly after seeing you. Make sure that you do not smile and pat your puppy when he jumps, as this improves your puppy's behavior.
One of the most effective ways to achieve this goal is to go immediately and not look in the eye. This may not be the easiest thing, but you must remember that you train your dog to get into society. They do it for your benefit. There is no point in shouting at them when they jump because they do not understand. Your dog will only see him if you react and play with him.
If your puppy stops jumping, you should immediately offer him enough treatment or praise. Make sure you do not give them any reward while jumping. Make sure you do not clap your hands but ignore them. In the end, your puppy will realize that staying on all fours is a reward for him.
The Sit and Stay commands can be used to prevent them from jumping. Your puppy can not jump while sitting. It will not happen overnight and it will take practice. But in the end it will be worthwhile. For example, you can leave the house and re-enter and try to reduce your jumps. The commands "stay" and "stay" are only effective if your puppy knows them well.
- The method "sit" and "stay" can be used especially when your puppy jumps to the guests.
Ask your guests to enter the house several times and make your dog feel free to jump.
- It will take a lot of practice, but it will be worth it. Soon, your puppy will stay on all fours instead of jumping when you enter the room.
These are some of the most important things to learn stop your dog from jumping. If you want to train your dog successfully, you must always be patient and persistent.
